The Lesser Antilles is a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea and are part of the West Indies. The islands form the eastern boundary of the Caribbean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean and are subdivided into three groups: the Windward Islands in the south, the Leeward Islands in the north and the Leeward Antilles in the west.

The sailing area around the Lesser Antilles is one of the most famous charter areas in the Caribbean Sea and one of the most beautiful in the world: Sailing in clear turquoise water with white sandy beaches, palm trees and an exuberant underwater world, which can not be explored in their fullness in a two weeks cruise.

The Croatian Adriatic coast is subdivided into the regions Istria & Kvarner, Northern Dalmatia, Central Dalmatia and Southern Dalmatia. There are over 45 marinas on the Croatian Adriatic and many communal harbors with anchoring possibilities for yachts.

It is said that Croatia is the Caribbean of Europe. The mainland is protected by the islands, which means that even with strong wind, the state of the sea remains moderate. Sailing trips in Croatia are therefore also very suitable for co-sailors without sailing skills.

Kroatien, ein mediterranes Land mit Tausend Inseln, kristallklarem Meer und über tausendjährigem architektonischen Erbe, ist eines der beliebtesten Segelreviere der Welt.

Man unterteilt die kroatische Adriaküste in die Regionen Istrien & Kvarner-Bucht, Norddalmatien, Mitteldalmatien und Süddalmatien. Es gibt an der Adria auf kroatischem Gebiet über 45 Marinas, 27 Marina-ähnliche Sportboothäfen und viele kommunale Häfen mit Anlegemöglichkeiten für Yachten.

Viele sagen, Kroatien sei die Karibik Europas. Das Festland ist geschützt durch die vorgelagerten Inseln, wodurch auch bei mehr Wind kaum grosse Wellen entstehen. Segeltörns in Kroatien eignen sich auch deshalb sehr gut für Mitsegler ohne Segelkenntnisse.

Portorosa on the northeast coast of Sicily is one of our starting harbour. From there, the Aeolian Islands are reachable within a short time. The archipelago includes the seven islands called Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi. A walk through the vineyards of Salina is an experience. Highly recommended is a quad tour across Vulcano. The sulphurous air and the unforgettable view to the active volcano Stromboli and the surrounding islands makes your heart beat faster. An der Nordküste Siziliens und den vorgelagerten Liparischen Inseln findet man eine fantastische Landschaft und kristallklares Wasser.

Als Ausgangshafen haben wir Portorosa an der Nordost-Küste Siziliens gewählt. Von dort sind die Liparischen Inseln in Sichtweite und mit ein paar kurzen Schlägen zu erreichen. Zum Archipel gehören die sieben bewohnten Inseln Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Stromboli, Filicudi und Alicudi. Ein Spaziergang durch die Weinberge der Insel Salina ist ein Erlebnis. Besonders empfehlenswert ist eine Quad-Tour auf der Insel Vulcano. Die heissen Schwefeldüften und die unvergessliche Aussicht auf den aktiven Vulkan Stromboli und die Nachbarinseln lässt die Herzen höher schlagen.

Die Entfernungen zwischen den Buchten und Häfen lassen sich gut in kleineren und grösseren Etappen zurücklegen, so dass genügend Zeit zum Baden und zum Geniessen der sizilianischen Weine und der verführerischen Küche bleibt.
